• Ladies Night Out April 22 at Archie and Clyde’s in Newburgh. All ladies welcome! we’ll be planning a trip to the Azalea Path in May.

  • We are pleased to welcome Pastor Tom Brown as the Interim Pastor of Gateway Baptist Church. After the unexpected death of our much-loved pastor, Dane Gray, the church began the search for an interim pastor. We were searching for the man who would lead us, preach God’s word, encourage us, and most of all, follow God’s leading to make us the best church family we can be! Come visit with us - you will find a family who will love you!

  • AWANA has started! Looking for an exciting, high energy kids’ club for your child? Awana is just that! Every week kids come together and play games, make friends and learn to memorize and apply God’s word. Gateway Awana Club is for kids from Pre-K through 6th grade. You do not have to be a member of Gateway Baptist Church in order for your kiddos to participate in Awana! Awana will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30. Contact Belinda Tooley at 812 760 2287 for more information!

Welcome to Gateway Baptist Church!

Gateway's mission is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the world.

We love Jesus. We love our church. We love our community.

Sunday: Sunday School 9:30 am, Morning Worship 10:45 am

Wednesday: Adult: Bible study - 3:00 pm & 6:00 pm AWANA - 6:00 pm

What should you expect when you attend Gateway Baptist Church?

Sunday morning worship begins at 10:45.  When you enter the church, you will be greeted at the door.  We love to see new faces!  You’ll be given a bulletin which provides announcements and guides you through the order of service.  You may sit anywhere you’d like in our beautiful sanctuary.  As you look around, you’ll see some folks who are dressed up and some folks who are dressed down.  We encourage you to come to church dressed comfortably!  The service will often start with a countdown followed by music.  The words will be on the screen.  We offer a blended service meaning you’ll hear the good ole hymns and you’ll also hear more contemporary music that you might hear on KLove radio.  After a time of worship, you will hear a message based upon scripture and relevant to living in this world today!  We have a little mantra at Gateway Baptist Church.  “We love Jesus.  We love our church and we love our community.”  It’s not just something we say - we mean it, we strive to show it and we long to show the love of Jesus in everything we do.

What other services are offered?

Sunday School is offered at 9:30 a.m.  There are several adult classes from which to choose.  Children are grouped according to age and we are always ready to begin a new class as needed.

On Wednesdays, during the school year AWANA happens at 6:00 pm for kids pre-school through 6th grade.  AWANA is a fantastic program of learning and memorizing scripture along with having a lot of fun!

Also on Wednesdays at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., there is a time of Bible study and prayer offered.

Sunday night events and studies are scheduled and announced.

Women on Mission meets monthly.  This is a group of ladies who meet regularly to learn about missionaries and seek ways to reach out to our community and to serve others. Women’s Ministries sponsors many events throughout the year.

Praise team/Choir rehearses regularly and is always open to new members.

If you love serving others and sharing the love of Jesus, there are plenty of opportunities available to do that at Gateway Baptist Church.
